Making its debut in the second half of 2022, it is fair to say that The First Musica was a breath of fresh air in Rome’s traditional hospitality scene. As we learned about this new and exciting viewpoint providing unprecedented angles of Rome, we just had to know more. Below is an extract from our conversation with Ms. Barbara Anklin, The First Musica’s Business Director.

The crown jewel of our property is the ALTO Cocktail Bar, offering sweeping views of ancient Rome and the undisturbed waters of the Tiber River. The rooftop bar occupies the sixth and seventh floors of the building.

The exquisite Rome views are among our most valued hotel assets. When it comes to accommodation options at The First Musica, I will highlight the following:
Prestige View rooms (#302, #402) offer exceptional views over the Tiber river and the old city center.
Studio View rooms (#303, #403). Some of these units are corner rooms with a privileged view over the Eternal City and its cupolas through the bright oversized windows; the bed stands in the middle of the bedroom to enjoy this view.

Guests should not miss treating themselves to an aperitivo or drink on the 7th-floor open-air roof terrace at the ALTO cocktail bar, where the view over the Roman monuments and rooftops is beyond words.
