Altis Belem Hotel & Spa (5 Star)
BOOK ALTIS BELEM HOTEL & SPA (in cooperation with Booking.com)
To know Lisboa is to fall deeply in love with the Tagus River: it runs in the city's veins as the oxygen runs in our blood. Every single Lisboner adores the river and Altis Belém Hotel & Spa is a fine example of that passion. This opulent 5-star hotel is a design icon, its parallelepiped shape rises gently from the ground in a puristic mix of white and glass. It is grand yet delicate: the river Tagus is the one which deserves to be highlighted. There is no other way to sleep closer to Lisbon's river (you could easily throw a pebble from your terrace) so, as you can imagine, the views are totally mind-blowing. You will wake up by the river, have the chance to walk or cycle aside it, have a drink or dine with the sight of it, nothing else in between. It will be the river and you, Christ The King and 25 de Abril Bridge to the left, Belém Tower to the right. Altis Belém Hotel & Spa is undoubtedly one of the best hotels in Lisbon. Architects love it for the ingeniously balanced futuristic lines, the modern interiors and the awesome rooftop terrace and pool where a swim seems to end only at the opposite shore.... what else does someone wish to do in a gorgeous place like this? Maybe... dine at Feitoria, the hotel's Michelin- starred restaurant, walk to the other side and visit the imposing Jerónimos' Monastery, or maybe indulge yourself in one of the great concerts at Belém Cultural Centre (CCB).

Four Seasons Hotel Ritz Lisbon (5 Star)
BOOK FOUR SEASONS HOTEL RITZ LISBON (in cooperation with Booking.com)
The Four Seasons Hotel Ritz Lisbon has been the pride of the town since it was raised in the late 1950's. Designed by the famous Portuguese architect Pardal Monteiro and meticulously decorated (History says the interiors were created during construction) this luxurious 5-star Lisbon hotel is a rare example of artists' collaboration. Perhaps that's one of the reasons why it still is a Lisbon icon after all these years: the Four Seasons Hotel Ritz Lisbon maintains a ravishing elegance that emanates from its classical decor and the priceless works of Art that invade most of the spaces (for instance the tapestries by Almada Negreiros). Nevertheless, an irreprehensible reputation is not achieved without service; again, this upscale hotel made it throughout the decades. The Four Seasons Hotel Ritz Lisbon is a top of the line hotel located in one of Lisbon's best areas, next to Marques de Pombal square and Liberty Avenue, it offers unbelievable views that overlook the city till they reach the Tagus River, fly you up to 25 de Abril Bridge, take you to the imposing statue of Christ The King, and finally reach out the shore at the other river bank. But climb to the rooftop and let yourself be overwhelmed by 360º vistas of the entire city and surroundings. After that, we assure you, you'll appreciate a swim at the indoor pool (we often ask, how can a pool be so gorgeous?!) or maybe not... perhaps your wish will be to keep on getting lost in contemplation... then go to floor 11, where an outdoor running track awaits.

Bairro Alto Hotel (5 Star)
BOOK BAIRRO ALTO HOTEL (in cooperation with Booking.com)
The Bairro Alto Hotel, subject to a two-year renovation under the vision of the Prizker-winning architect Eduardo Souto de Moura, emerged rejuvenated and expanded, encompassing an entire block of four buildings and doubling its original size. Its renowned top-floor terrace, a favorite among locals, offers a tranquil escape above the city's rooftops. It provides panoramic views of the Tagus River and is a prime spot for weekend brunch and sunset viewing, often resulting in a queue at the entrance. A larger, second panoramic terrace has been integrated to accommodate its growth, complementing the hotel's new BAHR restaurant. The Bairro Alto Hotel, nestled in the heart of the historic Chiado district, is a testament to luxury and style. Its interior features high ceilings, colorful European elements, traditional Moorish azulejos, and custom-made oak furniture. The bathrooms are a harmonious mix of marble and cement, adding a touch of creative flair and chromatic sophistication. Each room is a work of art, with a unique mural of a migrating bird symbolizing the quest for new horizons. Vintage touches like lion's paw bathtubs and porcelain light switches add to its retro-chic appeal. The hotel's intimate wellness center offers a serene retreat with a sauna and massage room. Here, guests can enjoy personalized yoga classes, treatments featuring Susanne Kaufmann cosmetics, and bespoke therapeutic sessions akin to osteopathy, all ensuring a restorative and bespoke hospitality experience.

EPIC SANA Lisboa Hotel (5 Star)
BOOK EPIC SANA LISBOA HOTEL (in cooperation with Booking.com)
Lisbon is well-known for its 7 hills, all visible by the river. They are one of the reasons why this is such a special city. If you're fond of astonishing sights, the kind of vistas that turn any visit (no matter the length) into an unforgettable one, then Lisbon is the place for you, and possibly the top-notch EPIC SANA Lisboa Hotel your kind of place. This 5-star hotel, one of the best in the Portuguese capital city, is located in one of Lisbon's upscale areas, very close to the chic Liberty Avenue and a stone's throw to Amoreiras, surely the fanciest shopping mall in town. The EPIC SANA Lisboa Hotel, being one of the city's finest hotels, offers state-of-the-art comfort and amenities in a modern building, lighted up by glass. But what really strikes any visitor are the views. We said it is located in one of the hills, remember? What this means is you can expect the most glorious panoramas of all. Ask for a room with a river view, if possible. In the case it is not, do not miss the infinity pool at the rooftop: it would be a shame to loose the opportunity to swim high up in the sky while gazing at the way the colors change from the typical white, yellow, rose and violet that cover the walls, to the green-blue, ever changing Tagus river.

BOOK OLISSIPPO LAPA PALACE (in cooperation with Booking.com)
Mimmic the life of Portuguese aristocracy (old and new) by staying at luxurious Olissipo Lapa Palace. Built in the 19th century on a hilltop that overlooks the Tagus River, the Olissipo Lapa Palace is a sumptuous 5-star hotel in Lisbon that will certainly impress its guests. But then gaze at the window or the terrace and breathe... the river will be all around you from the riverbank at your side to the facing coast, right after passing through 25 de Abril Bridge. Now (if you're not bewitched by the sight) step outside: my goodness, what could you say about a pool that is surrounded by a sub-tropical garden (in fact the entire hotel is)? Magic, that's what it is, one of Lisbon's top swimming pools, we dare to say. Olissipo Lapa Palace is situated in a quiet, very elegant Lisbon neighborhood called Lapa. Mainly an upscale residential area, full of palaces, it also homes the residence of the Prime Minister, as well as São Bento Palace - the Portuguese Parliament or Assembly of the Republic -, and the Estrela Basilica, an unmissable church with an impressive dome. Superb rooms that allow other areas of the town to be part of your own private decor. And all this right at the center of Lisbon, in one of the most exclusive areas, as a matter of fact 'the' place one should be at for a totally posh experience: Liberty Avenue, the graceful, luxurious street that neighbors the districts of Principe Real And Bairro Alto, and takes you to Rossio and Baixa. It's reputation is quite hard to defeat: the retro decoration is amazing, the service is brilliant, Brasserie Flo - the restaurant at ground level - is a must with its art-deco interiors and sublime French cuisine. And the higher you go, the best is Tivoli Lisboa: what can you say about a restaurant and a bar that let you fly allover town (and we mean a-l-l-o-v-e-r) ? BOOK INTERCONTINENTAL LISBON (in cooperation with Booking.com)
The Intercontinental Lisbon, one of the best hotels in Lisbon, is located in Rua Castilho, a lovely street that flows along Parque Eduardo VII, one of the most beautiful parks in town. Essentially a residential area for prosperous families, this is a quiet spot although extremely close to Lisbon main points of interest: Liberty Avenue is a couple of meters away, Principe Real 10 minutes far from hotel's entrance, Baixa, Chiado and Bairro Alto within a quick ride. At the Intercontinental Lisbon you'll enjoy the Intercontinental-style features: a classical, discreet decoration, spacious rooms with amenities that favor the best rest of all. What you do not expect (and the thing we cannot resist to tell you all about - after all we are the-most-perfect-view chasers) is the kind of sights you'll be able to indulge on from your rooms' window. To say they are nice is rather unfair; to call them vistas is to run short. They are glorious! And they are panoramas, not regular sights! From your room, your eyes will grasp the Tagus River after flying over the rooftops, they will reach São Jorge Castle after floating above the city. You only need to choose the one you want and ask for a room that comes with it.

The Sheraton Lisboa Hotel & SPA lies in Lisbon's business district, a vast area also named 'Avenidas Novas' (the new avenues). Rather close to some of the major points of interest (you can reach Liberty Avenue and downtown Baixa by foot), the Sheraton Lisboa Hotel & SPA is a magnificent hotel, renowned for its SPA and the overwhelming views that can be enjoyed either from the rooms or from the Panorama Bar at 25th floor. If you're some kind of a 'view collector' then ask for a Club Room upon doing your reservations (here's another piece of advice: ask for a river view one, you'll be totally amazed). And do not end your Lisbon holidays without visiting the Panorama Bar: the sights surely deserve a drink or two... but if you can, dine or lunch, the panoramas are so incredible they sure do need a gourmet cuisine and.. time, plenty of time, to fully enjoy them.
