The Hotel’s Window
Think New York. Reset that thought. Now think of a New York where skyscrapers and a frenetic lifestyle give way to a soothing landscape where Nature is king and the calm waters of Canandaigua Lake set the tone for a memorable stay at The Lake House. Picture yourself sitting in an Adirondack chair on a spacious, private balcony with an unobstructed view of the lake and Skenoh Island. By day, you can see the vast manicured lawn and grounds with colorful, blooming flowers in every bed. In the evenings, the glowing firepits along the lakefront steal the scene, with guests gathering and enjoying beverages and s'mores while laughing with friends and family.

Insider’s Knowledge
When we thought about chatting to Chris Pulito, The Lake House’s general manager, we imagined doing so with a glass of wine in hand while dipping our toes in the refreshing waters of Canandaigua Lake. It didn’t quite happen like that, but his testimonial indeed was enough to leave us craving for a lake breeze.

The public area that boasts the best views would have to be the terrace on the second floor of our main building. Guests can relax and take in views of the lawn, dock, pool, and Canandaigua Lake.
-
The windows of the lake view rooms, including the Premium Lake King, Premium Lake Queen, and Premium Lake King Suite at The Lake House on Canandaigua, provide picturesque views of Canandaigua Lake. While looking through the window or relaxing on the balcony, guests can enjoy the stunning sunsets and sometimes even fireworks over the lake.
-
Canandaigua Lake surrounds the entire hotel, and we aim to offer our guests stunning views of the lake while on the property. Guests can eat outside at Sand Bar, relax on the brand new pool deck, sit in one of the Adirondack chairs on the patio, enjoy the fire pits on the lawn, or even take an outdoor spin class while taking in the surrounding views.
